Police brutality - looking after themselves. [Aug. 13th, 2009|06:59 pm]

Blimey!
You always got the odd bad apple - but when they're protected, and then reinstated back to their old job - with back pay... well - a bit scary isn't it?

Take this story:

This woman "fell" while she was in police custody after being a bit awkward before a polygraph test.
She was also handcuffed at the time - notice the very squashed nose she has after falling flat on the floor?

Edit:
Reading through the Reddit thread:

"She should press charges against the officer in a civil suit for a few mil."
"She did and she got $400,000."

At least she got a payout - but it's scary that he's back in his old job!
