Canon DSLR's are starting to suck. [Jul. 21st, 2009|07:33 pm]
For starters...

To cover the eyepiece when shooting without your eye next to the viewfinder, Nikon has a neat little leaver:

Canon have the award winning "Rubber block on the strap you stick on the eyepiece" solution:

I'm (nearly was) a fan of Canon, but if they continue to lose the plot like this website makes out, I'm going to buy Nikon next.

Of note: Don't go near the Canon 5D Mark II.

Lenticular... [Jul. 21st, 2009|09:33 pm]
Why are their only horizontal or vertical lenses?

Why can't I find any spherical lenses for X and Y movement?

Infection + 60 hours. [Jul. 21st, 2009|11:58 pm]
I had a dry throat yesterday and was a bit achy, today - nothing much to speak of.

Woo-hoo, I'm looking swine-flu proof! (Jodi too) =D

The person Jodi kissed on Saturday was bed-bound for a few days, and has lost a stone in weight, but they're starting to pick up now - but although it sounds like swine flu, maybe it was just an old normal virus they had, which Jodi and I have had in the past?

I know it can take up to 10 days to incubate, but - I just don't think I've got it. Does anyone think I'm infectious yet if I have?
