UK - keep an eye on this one. [Apr. 26th, 2009|09:29 pm]
A businessman and his family have been told not to have contact with other people after he returned from Mexico and reported having flu-like symptoms.

Chris Clarke, of Stanwick, felt unwell on Saturday and contacted NHS Direct who told him to call his out-of-hours doctor service.

He said his family have now been issued with a vaccine and been told to stay away from other people as a precaution.

Passengers on the flight back were warned about swine flu, he added.

Mr Clarke said he felt the onset of flu-like symptoms as soon as he got home and now his wife and children appeared to be suffering similar symptoms.

A Half a Million Plastic Coffins? [Apr. 26th, 2009|10:36 pm]

"Yep, these are cheap plastic coffins. Hundreds of thousands of them. Don't believe it? Here's the proof:

Why coffins? Why in the middle of Georgia?

Well, apparently the Government is expecting a Half Million people to die relatively soon, and the Atlanta Airport is a major airline traffic hub, probably the biggest in the country, which means Georgia is a prime base to conduct military operations and coordination. It is also the home of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. I don't want to alarm anyone, but usually you don't buy 500,000 plastic coffins "just in case something happens," you buy them because you know something is going to happen. These air tight seal containers would be perfect to bury victims of plague or biological warfare in, wouldn't they? "

Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Emerging Killer Virus Starts Like a Cold, But Kills Many [Apr. 26th, 2009|10:50 pm]
Do you think this thing's been around for 9 months?

(NaturalNews) A newly discovered and highly lethal virus strain begins with symptoms similar to that of a cold but can quickly lead to severe respiratory crisis.

"This virus has the capability of causing severe respiratory illness in people of all ages, regardless of their medical condition," said John Su, of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The virus was discovered by infectious-disease expert David N. Gilbert, who noticed that otherwise healthy patients were being stricken by pneumonia so severe that they would die without oxygen treatment. The dangerous symptoms developed within only one or two days of initial cough and fever symptoms.

One of the patients who survived was 18-year-old Joseph Spencer. After experiencing severe, flu-like symptoms including chills, fever and vomiting, Spencer went to the hospital, where he was placed in intensive care and treated for 18 days.
