I'm busy setting up some basic breadboarding components for my new F2013 MCU chips.|
... and I'm implementing a new Electronics blog on Untamed.co.uk detailing my hopes, fears, successes and failures. (not up yet)
I've got some programs running already.
The most important two so far I think are:
1: MCU clock speed changer, 1MHz, 2MHz, 4MHz, 8MHz, 16MHz
2: MCU Core-clock independent timed interrupt routines.
I found out fast that nearly all the demo's featured an interrupt trigger driven from the main CPU clock. As I want to use interrupts to measure 1 second, changing the clock speed changed the interval between seconds!
I finally found some code that an engineer posted * that links an alternative clock to the interrupt trigger. Now 1 second is 1 second - at least calibrated on one MCU.
