|Working time directive.

It's coming into force in the UK shortly so I've been reading up on it a bit.|
From what I can tell, you can work over 48 hours if you're salaried, and the work you to is voluntary (like working later to meet a deadline) and you're not getting paid for it.
Therefore programmers and the like needn't panic about those deadlines (as much).
