| I could tell by the carrying angle... |

When the arm is extended, with the palm facing forward or up, the bones of the humerus and forearm are not perfectly aligned. The deviation from a straight line (generally on the order of 5-10°-men, 10-25°-women) occurs in the direction of the thumb, and is referred to as the carrying angle (visible in the right half of the picture). In females the carrying angle is greater than in males. |

Added: Friday, 9 May, 2008, 13:22 GMT 14:22 UK "just come to end of 2yr-fixed mortgage deal & was given just 1 month's notice of this. Fortunately, have been able to secure new deal…

"I don't wish to appear uncharitable but I think you'll find you had 2 years' notice of when your 2 year deal was due to end. 2 years after it started. Just to help you out, if your new deal is also a 2 year deal it will end 2 years after it begins.
And they wonder why people get into financial difficulties.

"Workers accused of theft or damage could soon find themselves blacklisted on a register to be shared among employers. It will be good for profits but campaigners say innocent people could find it impossible to get another job."
I don't know the stats, but I'm sure a large number of people have been sacked, or left because of 'incompatabilities' with their bosses at least once in their many years of work. It happens, maybe once, and then maybe that same person settles down and ends up a CEO for another company.
Imagine being blacklisted... not getting another chance.
I'm sure the gouverment wont allow this - they have a vestid intrest in even the worst workers being productive for the economy. Having so many people unemployable would be very damaging for GDP. I guess that's why references are not allowed to be negative.

I don't understand it. Why would someone take a drug to see shapes and colo(u)rs changing and odd things happening?
I hate drinking too much, and havent done for years because of the horrible fuzzy feeling in my head, and later - the spinning feeling I have no control over. Maybe I'm a control freak - but I don't see the attraction in losing touch with reality. |

| How weird. |
[May. 5th, 2008|11:37 am] |
I really love sleep - dreaming - snuggles - warm cosy duvets. Bed is the best place to be in the world, I can read, surf the net, listen to the radio, chat, snuggle, and eat, just to name a few. It's good that I do. Being on holiday this week I've been sleeping when I've wanted to. I've found that I can sleep for 8 to 10 hours a night, and have the energy in the afternoon for a 2 to 3 hour sleep. I'm not moody when awake, and I have a healthy apetite, and feel relaxed.
I wonder if I'm a natural born sleeper? =)
Edit:: Ooo, these are classic signs of a hyperomniac. =) phear me! |

I wish I'd have known : "PETA made archival recordings of animal cruelty available for the use in Seed's introduction", before I'd watched the movie - maybe in a warning at the start? I was suspicious of the dogs being maimed and killed at the beginning looking a little too realistic. After googling around at the end of the film, I found out they are.
I feel ill. =( |

Make programs worthwhile and informative, and you will be called "elitist", dum them down and it's called "accessible". Behind this argument hides viewing figures and career people wanting tangible proof of their skills.
Should popularity be the main concern of a publicly licensed broadcasting body? If not, how can you access if the programs are quality?

Stan: Okay, that's enough for me. Xev, come on, just blow up the stupid planet then we can go some place else and find ourselves a nice planet.
790: It makes little difference whether or not you destroy this planet. It is a classic type 13 planet, which typically destroys itself at this stage of its development.
Xev: How?
790: Sometimes through war, often through environmental catastrophe. But more commonly, a type 13 planet is inadvertently collapsed into a pea-sized object by scientists attempting to determine the mass of the Higgs boson particle. |

| Windows XP - service pack 3 |
[May. 1st, 2008|09:02 am] |
Finally, Windows XP is out of Beta testing. Service pack 3 finishes off the bug fixing stage, and XP has matured into a stable, reliable, efficient, reliable operating system.
Here's the list of fixes for SP 3, strangely enough I couldn't find the list on MS's website, 2's there though - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811113.
Here's the list: http://labnol.blogspot.com/2005/05/windows-xp-sp3-service-pack-3.html
So why, oh why, are people now moving away from Windows XP now it's largely bug-free!? It's crazy! |
